International shipping

Attention: You are buying products from a European based online store, located in Heino, the Netherlands. We ship your order with DHL Express. Please note that your order may be subject to local import duties or taxes imposed by your government. We are not responsible in any way for these potential extra local cost. We will not pay for any return shipments that for the above reasons are rejected by the customer. Nor will be responsible for any extra costs involved if a rejected shipment comes back to our warehouse. In this case, all costs for returning the order to us (freight costs + import duties) will be deducted from the returned order when processing the return.

Packing your returns:  Please reuse the original packaging when returning items to us. Be sure to write on the packaging that the item is a return, this will avoid any customs charges. If you don’t, and we do have to pay customs charges then we will deduct those fees from your refund amount. We will not accept items that are not in their original condition (and product box) or have been damaged in transit due to inadequate packaging.

This is dependent on the country you live in, below are our standards in shipping. 

 

2. Who delivers my package?

DHL: 

International orders will be shipped out the same day with DHL Express with On Demand Delivery (ODD) Service. 

•        The delivery time depends on your country but within 1-3 days your order will be delivered.
•        Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping notification from DHL EXPRESS.
•        DHL Express On Demand Delivery service will notify you by email and SMS about your shipment’s progress and estimated delivery date/time.
When this doesn’t fit your schedule, you can customize your delivery and decide how, where and when the delivery takes place at the time and location that suits you best.

DHL On Demand Delivery is giving you maximum flexibility and greater control over your delivery.

DHL ON DEMAND DELIVERY offers flexible delivery options:
* Deliver my Package on Another Day: Scheduled Delivery
* Deliver my Package to Another Address: Alternate Delivery to work or family
* Deliver my Package at a Safe Place: Authorize Shipment Release
* Deliver my Package with Neighbor: Leave the package at your Neighbor, Reception or Guard
* Deliver my Package at a DHL ServicePoint: Hold for Pick‐up Collection

DPD:

UV Fashions puts you as a customer in first place and that is why we chose DPD as our one of our partners in delivering your order. DPD has a great service called DPD Home, which enables you to choose your own delivery time. DPD informs you proactively on when you can expect your delivery and if your not able to take delivery at that moment, just follow the instructions they provide and choose from one of three different time options to get your order from UV Fashions!

DPD home offers you as customer the following advantages:

• You decide the delivery moment
• Email notification of the delivery date, choose an alternative moment online if necessary.
• Notification of the time slot in which your delivery will arrive.

Not home or want to make a different appointment?

If DPD isn’t able to deliver, you have the possibility to make a new appointment. This can be on a different day, another address, a DPD shop or even with a placement authorization. Plan your new appointment simply online here.

All you need fort his is the notice you received from the driver and your postal code. Depending on the instructions on the notice, most of the times your package can be delivered the next day. The only thing you have to do, is to give your new delivery instructions before midnight.

Choose a different day on which you can take delivery of your package

Delivery on another address

If you would like to receive your package on a different address, for example the neighbours or at work? Simply go online and change the delivery address. If the new postal code is within the same region, the delivery is usually the following day. If the new postal code is for a new region, the delivery is within two days.

 Placement authorization

You can also choose to authorize your DPD driver to place your package in a safe place at your home.

Pick up at a DPD shop

Would you like to pick up your package? Let the package be delivered at a DPD shop of your choice. You will be informed on when your package has arrived. Collection of the package at your DPD shop has to be within 7 days.

3. What are the shipping costs?

UV-Fashions provides premium shipping service for every shipment. You will receive a track&trace, you have to sign for your package and you have a €500 insurance, in case the package is lost.

4. Important disclaimer for orders shipping to a non-European Union country 

DUTIES AND TAXES

1. When a package is shipped internationally to a country outside the European Union, it may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges will typically be due once the shipped goods arrive at the country of destination.
2. Such charges are not included in the product price or shipping and handling cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility as we are only charging the transportation fee for your order.
3. UV-Fashions does not have any responsibility on these additional charges that may apply.
4. The buyer is responsible for obtaining information regarding their country’s laws, regulations, and restrictions that may apply when purchasing our products. By placing an international order (shipping outside the EU), the buyer is responsible for abiding by their country’s laws, regulations, and restrictions.
5. If a product is seized and destroyed by the customs, we will not be responsible for the losses, product, or shipping refunds.
